They can cancel the service and make it harder for the android box users to find the channels again.
Students manually sharing passwords can run into issues as well. There's always the risk of privacy issues. No matter how well you know the people you are sharing with, your account is essentially wide open and things can be done to it without your consent.
Because the services like Netflix, Disney + etc would not like having people sharing the platform freely instead of paying individually (they would lose money), so they have been taking measures to stop/discourage users from doing so.
